Course Overview

Mivan Formwork (Aluminium Formwork) is a modern construction technology used mainly in high-rise buildings and mass housing projects. It uses prefabricated aluminium panels to cast walls, slabs, beams, and stairs in one pour (monolithic construction).

  • 3. Mivan Working Procedure: Site preparation & planning; Panel fixing sequence; Reinforcement & electrical conduits; Concrete pouring (monolithic casting); De-shuttering process

  • 4. Slab Cycle & Site Execution: Slab cycle planning; Labour management; Work sequencing; Productivity improvement

  • 5. Drawing Reading: Mivan layout drawings; Shell plan understanding; Panel arrangement drawings

  • 6. Quality Control (QC): Alignment & verticality checks; Surface finish inspection; Checklist for slab & wall
